Us $1500 BUDGET, What's the best you can get me?

Alright Here are my parameters in finding a notebook. I have 1500 dollars to spend and I want the best laptop right now today or within the month. What is your suggestion?
    It must have:
9600M GT graphics card or equivalent or better,
Fingerprint reader and webcam otherwise it is open ended.
    MUST BE NEW

    GO

My next option is to wait until after the holidays and purchase on at that time. That is longest that I will wait

It's very general... especially on the laptop size... but you said you want it as a desktop replacement?

HP dv5t or dv7t would do well. You can also try dell's XPS series. The HP dv5t is pretty good for it's price considering the many coupons HP has been giving out.

    HP dv5t

I customized it like crazy and it only comes out 1200$ after 400$ instant savings.

Plus u get a free printer.

Dont get XPS, since the new XPS will comes around in couple of months.

Yeah, since your a fan of HP, dv5t i'd say. It's great for it's price. And about that free printer araharja, it's kind of a rip off imo. I know you get a rebate back, but you still paid 70$ for it. Printers cost like 30$ -.-. My sis bought her all-in-one for 30$.

Please choose a screen size man. If you want 15 inches you can get a decent PC but if you get a 17 inch screen you'll get a much better GAMING laptop from Gateway. A 15 inch laptop you might have a slightly faster CPU (CPU is good but the core2duo is so fast I wouldn't really make too much noise about it) while a 17 inch gateway or toshiba will get you a MUCH faster GPU. Either choose 15 inches and a 9600GT (or equivalent) or a 17 inch with a 9800GT (or evuivalent).

If you want some portability a 15 inch but if your laptop will sit stationary on the desk (like MOST people I know who rarely move their laptop off the desk) a 17 inch gaming laptop will give you great performance for SC2.
