Re: MSI 1029 or Compaq V400T???
You mean ibuypower.com...

The MSI-1029 is almost better in every aspect, with the exception of the hard drive being 20GB smaller. It is a much better deal - especially considering that it has 4x the RAM, a DVD burner, and a more powerful CPU.
You'll get better battery life with the Compaq due to it's oversized 12-cell battery (5 hours), but other than that, everything points toward the MSI.
I'd go on MSI's website and check out who else sells them; I haven't heard the greatest things about ibuypower.NotebookReview Writer & Reviewer
