Where can I buy a customizable macbook
Sorry for reposting a question but some people are quick to the thread closed button. But I guess thats my fault for not being up to date with apple EULA. I asked if it is possible to run OS X on a non apple laptop not how to do it, there isn't a law for conspiring on how to run a different OS.
1. Where is a good online store (if any, idk apples laws on this either) to find a customizable macbook?
2. What would be the best apple laptop graphics card for GPU power? Do these systems use nVidia Quadro cards?

Re: Where can I buy a customizable macbook
I am confused, you want OS X, or a mac? If you want a customizable mac, apple.com is where you go, I figured that would be an easy one, but I guess not. Anyways, as an example you click on macbook, then buy now, then select on some of the different models, and then it gives you options for customization.
HP Pavilion dv5t Entertainment Notebook
Genuine Windows Vista Home (64-bit)
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9400 (2.53 GHz)
15.4" diagonal WSXGA+ High-Definition HP (1680 x 1050)
4GB DDR2 System Memory
512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
250GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100AGN and Bluetooth(TM)
HP Integrated HDTV Hybrid Tuner

1. www.applestore.com
2. Macbook Pro with the 8600m GT. No Quadros in laptops.
Finally, do not bring up OSX on non-Apple hardware. NBR does not tolerate that discussion.Desktop: Core i7 960, 1 TB HDD, 6 GB RAM, Radeon HD 6870
Asus G50vt-X1: P8400, 320 GB 7200 RPM, 4 GB RAM, 9800m GS

It is against the Forum Rules.Sorry for reposting a question but some people are quick to the thread closed button. But I guess thats my fault for not being up to date with apple EULA. Please familiarize your self with these rules
here is a link: Forum Rules
Not conforming with a company's EULA will forbid you from using the product and if used the company, in this case Apple.inc has the right to file a lawsuit against you for violating the EULA and furthermore possibly land you with a jail sentence.

Re: Where can I buy a customizable macbook
Ok I know that... I am asking if there are stores out there that sell cheaper based on the low prices=volume and volume=profit theory. And I was hoping there would be a store out there with other options on GPU's aside from the apple store's.I am confused, you want OS X, or a mac? Re: Where can I buy a customizable macbook
Your questions don't make sense, do you want pre-made macs, or configurable macs? You can only configure at apple.com, pre-built there are various places and sites you can get from for example best buy.

Re: Where can I buy a customizable macbook
There are no configurations outside of the possible permutations on the apple site.
The only graphics cards available are the nVidia 8600M and whatever 512mb card is available on the 17" model. No other options exist.
