    Default Gaming Laptop

Anyone know a good, if possible under $2200 laptop with these specs

    3.0 Ghz
    1 Gb Ram
    256Mb Graphics Memory
    80GB HD

I was looking at the HP zd8000 but i need it by the 18th or on the 18th.

you can walk into a store and buy that laptop, you don't have to order it online...

The cheapest way to get those specs is via a Dell i9300 (btw, uses a Pentium M but you can get the equivalent of a 3.0GHz Pentium 4 if you get faster than a PM 1.7GHz processor). Try eBay to buy off someone that's reputable and already has a configured system sitting ready to ship

I would prefer the HP with Brightview over any Dell, but that's my preference for an enhanced display speaking.

I'd also consider the Compaq X6000. I've only had it about a month now but I love the thing. It's playing every game I throw at it and the display is great. The silver case is nice, was tired of the black look []. The ZD8000 from HP is the same computer in a different case. The only other difference between the two is that you can get the HP with Windows Media XP and it's not an option ordering the Compaq with it. Also there is a remote control you can get with the HP for playing movies and such for like 15 bucks, again, big deal.

    X6000, 3.2 Ghz, 512meg ram, 256 ATI X600 video, 17" Brightview Screen, 60gig 7200rpm Hard Drive, 8X DVD Burner, 54g 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster

Upgrading from a Sager Celeron 500, 192meg ram, 6gig 4200 RPM Hard Drive, 8 meg ATI Rage LT Video Card, 15" Screen, 4X DVD player.
