Who's third?
Not sure if this is the right section,
but in terms of build quality
if IBM and Fujitsu's laptops in general are rated the top two laptop manufacturers in build quality respectively, who would you consider to be "third"? Asus? LG? Toshiba?

HP's business class and Panasonic Toughbooks are very good as well.
I know things, things that could get me killed
Thinkpad T41:
* 1.6Ghz Pentium M * 768Mb Memory * 40Gb Hitachi 7200RPM * Panasonic UJ-845-B DVD+RW *

good question, depends on the model. Sony's X505 is made of a carbon fiber composite...the best material you can use for a notebook really, but it's cost prohibitive for mainstream notebooks and then the rest of Sony's machines don't come close to the build quality of the X505. But I ramble. I'd say of the major manufacturer's if you looked at the business line the Toshiba Portege is right up there (not Satellite, Portege).
