Default Should I Buy the Sony TX850?

I'm looking into a new laptop for school and I was wondering what are the pros and cons of the TX850? Like honestly, I wouldn't do any gaming outside of my desktop, and I would just use it for msn/writing essays/some video watching.

The price I can get at is $1600(Canadian) FLAT, brand new.

What do you guys think of it?

The price is very low for such a notebook. Where did you get such a price?

    Employee discount LOL

I was hoping for a nice laptop around 600-1200 CDN so this $1600 is outta my initial budget. I was wondering should I just spend $400 more and buy this or what do you guys think?

    Hows this laptop etc?

Do you really want something that small, if not then there are a lot of others available in your price range.

that is an awesome price for THAT laptop. however, given your hesitation, i would recommend you look for other notebooks that may be better suited.

Buy it now!! I think that is one of the coolest laptops I have seen. Its ultraportable and if you won't need it for gaming, the smaller the better.
