it's really up to you. If you're a hardcore gamer, then the Clevo is much better. Asus G2, IMO, is a very decent "gaming" notebook, if you can call it a gaming notebook at all. If you get the Clevo, try to change to HDD to a 7200RPM
WidowPc does the best job decorating the M570U, but it's cut-throat, while Sager does almost nothing except for the logo, yet they have one of the best prices. Also look at powernotebook. Or you should go to the Clevo/Sager box, look at the sticky there about all retailers of Clevo.

    the main difference will be:
    - screen resolution is up to WUXGA on Clevo (while Asus G2 only has WXGA+)
    - the videocard is the biggest difference, about twice the performance (since we are comparing a mid-range 128bit memory interface videocard with a high-end 256bit card.

For gaming, then hands down the Clevo M570U. For typical use and moderate gaming, then the Asus G2 would be the better value.

yes well the g2 would not even perform as well in games as my 14 inch asus a8js.

Its strongest gaming feature is the 8ms response time of the lcd.

I think the compromise area youre looking for is something like the fujitsu amilo with the x1900.

I won't be gaming too much on this notebook, but it will be nice to know I could throw any game at it. The $500 difference is no big deal, I'm already spending $2000 so I want to get the best. I want the best notebook for my money, spec's and quality. Quality and Warranty wise, which is better? That will most likely be my deciding factor.

And dont forget the warranty, seems to me you are getting 1 year with this clevo and 2 years with this asus. Also the 3rd year will cost you around $130 with G2p instead of the +/- $500 for a 3 year with clevo...
As crappyGPU says, G2p is a decent "gaming" machine. If you're into gaming then the clevo ofcourse, or even consider the 15,4" G1.
