Default Toshiba Satellite A135-S4457 Charging problems...

I bought this off of ebay itself without a charger on anything about 4 months ago. it worked great and when i got a charger for it, it was even better. but now after 4 months it wont charge, and i know its not the charger.

let me explain how it goes... i plug in the power supply with the battery in, and the blue light on the bottom comes on along with the orange light to show that its charging, but after five seconds the orange light turns off, and 2 seconds later it comes back on, and five seconds later it goes off again and doesn't come back on until i unplug the power supply and plug it back in, then the process repeats. when i take the battery out, USUALLY i can operate the laptop fully, but now it comes on for bout 10 seconds and shuts off. it just started doing this all of a sudden. and its not the battery cause it lasts a long time after a charge.

i know its something with the insides, but i don't know what exactly cause im only good with desktops not laptops. hints would be helpful. i will need them fast cause im trading this for a dirtbike and this stupid problem is holding me back.

    all help appreciated. thanks.

Okay, that was a bit confusing. You need to be more clear. Are you saying that it just won't charge consistently? Will it always run fine as long as the power supply is attached and plugged into an AC outlet? FOr example, if you remove the battery and plug it in, will it randomly shut off, or consistently run fine?
