The second guide was created and submitted by user LilKevin715.

Also, on my home page I posted a link to the website with disassembly guides for Macintosh laptops.

Re: How to disassemble Toshiba Laptops.
Hi,
it is a great website you have cj2600. I own a M30-S309. The hinge of the display seems to be loose and I want to tighten it. Any suggestion in doing this? I've checked your site and you still don't have the disassembly guide for this model.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
TIA

No, you're correct. The only difference between the two is that the P30 can be customized and cannot be bought instore, whereas the P35 must be bought in-store and cannot be customized.

Try to find screws for hinges on the bottom of the laptop and also under the LCD assembly mask.

Re: How to disassemble Toshiba Laptops.
Hi,
I have a question similar to Otomo's above one. -- loose display. I have a Toshiba Satellite 5205, with the Harman-Kardon speakers. I suspect I have just to remove the speaker cover (supposedly, to tighten a couple of screws), but I am not sure how to proceed. Suggestions?
Thanks

Re: How to disassemble Toshiba Laptops.
Check out the guide for Toshiba Satellite 5105. The guide will show you how to remove the top cover from your laptop and access the hinges. When you remove the top cover you'll see if your hinges are broken or just loose.
