Have been playing around with the Yoga 3 Pro now for a couple of weeks and have run into three big annoyances that have marred an otherwise positive experience.

The first is more a Windows 8.1 issue, but it is something you may want to be aware of if you are road warrior traveling from place to place. Windows 8.1 has deprecated the use of tkip encryption so if you visit a lot of offices and cannot connect to wireless networks, this can be annoying. There are some workarounds, where you can force it to connect in the command line, but if you visit a lot of offices it will crop of eventually.

The second and third are related to the insane screen resolution-I think--or perhaps it is a video driver issue that may be resolved eventually.

Command Prompt boxes are almost unreadable. As this machine is targeted to the business user, it could become an issue.

Remote Desktop...Again, the Windows Remote Desktop application does not scale well to the insane screen resolution on the Yoga 3 pro. If you rely on RDP for terminal server session, you are going to be seriously annoyed when you first log in.

The Solution for this one, however, is readily available. Download the Remote Desktop Manager from Microsoft Download center, and this DOES scale so you can work at a reasonable resolution.
