I just received a 64gb mSATA ssd for my Y560. The problem is that I don't have any screws to mount it with. The ones from the wireless card work, but then I don't have a wireless card. Does anyone know what size screws I need, and where to get them?

You can try to contact Lenovo support. I doubt such specs are listed in the user manual, but you can try to look.

If you know what screw you need, you can just go to the hardware store and try to find a match. If you want to, you can measure the length and calculate the gauge to find an exact match. With that info, you should be able to order them online at any screw store.

Most likely the size you need is M2 x 3mm. That is the size used both my T420s and a Dell E6410. You can find sets of screws on ebay.

On my X220i there was already a screw in the hole where the mSATA drive fits. Perhaps you could do one for each?

I'm using one in each right now, but the wireless card visibly moves. Not enough to lose connection, but not enough to be comfortable with long-term either.

I just added a MyDigitalSSD 64 GB ssd to my new E220s. I could not find a screw in any of my pill boxes full of old computer screws!! I was about to give up when I decided to cut a small piece of foam rubber (from replacement laptop battery shipment) and place it on the edge of the mSATA where the screw should have gone. When I replaced the keyboard, the pressure on the foam held the mSATA firmly in place. The mSATA is working like a charm as a boot drive. Well worth the $139.00 investment!

I went to a local computer shop (I'd never shop there since they are like 30% over retail) but I took my ideapad in and they had a little box of laptop screws and they let me dig around until I found a few that would fit. They were nice enough to just give me 6 of them!

I got the MyDigitalDiscount 64GB SSD. I'm using it for Windows and stuff that isn't games. Those are installed on the stock HDD right now, though it'll be a Momentus XT as soon as the next paycheck comes in.
