For everyone saying that it has a fan or a cooling hole on the side, it is a speaker, so better get a cooling plate before may:p

I think yo can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5FGHCqyhto

I am so excited for this laptop, any news about the 860m?

The cooling is great: dual fans, air is aspired from down and thrown back. Thay had studied it a lot.

But the problem is: is all plastic? So I can't dissipate even through the walls......or is any kind of metal?

Some of the videos stated that the y50 is brushed aluminum.

The y40 has a carbon look so might be carbon.....but personally I don't believe it will at this price point.

For the cooling air is sucked through the bottom intake grill by a dual fan solution and evacuated next to the screen hinge ...same like a lot of laptops right now.

Brushed aluminum...wooow... So I can do a very high overclock with comfortable temperature while gaming..

Have I only choose who between 860m and r7 265m(?) r7 270(?) perform better.. For now I focused on AMD side...because gpgpu is quite double in this two card, and unless the field nvida give a very high overclockability ( such as the vram on 650m with modded bios) I will choose r7

The Y40 and Y50 look cool. I'll probably wait for more info on the possible Y70 before I make a purchase though.

Do note that lenovo has not announced the y70 officially. This is just some info I extracted from their teaser video that some guy was playing on the y50 during his presentation of the laptop. None of their press releases actually mention it.
