I dont do any gaming, I just run word, aim, internet, watch movies and listen to music. The current XPS 140 now has the following custom configuration:

    1.86 ghz (single core)
512 DDR2 ram (plan to buy a stick after purchase)
    60 gb 7200 rpm (not a misprint)
    DVD-RW
a/b/g wireless and true life screen

All for $722 with the ten percent off discount from NBR

Now I am torn between doing this today or waiting a few weeks for the new dual core 14 inch model. However, I dont think that I will utitilize the dual cores potential. I dont do any gaming so the difference a dual core would make for me would be minimal and come at a much higher price tag. Also I dont think I could get a dual core at that price until they are phased out, which wont be for a very long time. The dell outlet is a possibility but I doubt any dual core 14 inch would be on there for some time.

    What do you guys think?
