Hah, we played with this but Dell said it was top secret, no longer I guess.

It's a cross between notebook and PC. Overall I think it's extremely cool. The price would be high though, making it too costly for students most likely, more geared toward the home PC that can move about.

We watched a movie on it, T2 I believe, the sound was *amazing* and for a concept PC it seemed really quite final like in its production. Dell is not comitted to releasing such a product though and they wanted our feedback on what to call it. I wasn't sure to be honest, it seemed portable but certainly not a "laptop". The way it folded into a briefcase style carry was incredible though. So, so cool.

Ha, no wonder when I commented on a previous post about a rumor of a 20" XPS laptop, it was quickly disregarded. Well, it certainly isn't a laptop though, maybe a "deskbook", lol. Sounds accurate enough, don't you think? If this thing gets at least a 512 MB 7800 SLI, it certainly would be a force to be reckon with.
