    Hi,

I googled for so long and couldn't find any answer.

Did anybody have the opportunity to have both, the XPS 13 and XPS 15? I really like the keyboard of the 13, is the one of the 15 like the same?

    Thanks in advance :)

My XPS13 is a few years old but speaking from memory, I don't recall any differences between that and my 9560.

Wife's 9360 has the same keyboard as the 9560.

I recall they are not exactly the same layout, the 13 having the dedicated Home End PgUp PgDn keys, the 15 not (Fn + arrows), and some other differences in the top right row.

It seemed like Dell had a few different keyboard suppliers and/or designs that were sprinkled throughout the Skylake and Kaby Lake 15" laptops.

The keyboards were similar but I noticed the difference at home and confirmed it when I visited retailers with several display models on the floor. Several other people here have commented the same.

There must be different manufactures because my wife's 9360 and my 9560 were EXACTLY the same. Same layout, same travel distance, same feel. I can put pictures up if need be. Now the 9370 and 9365 (now that I look at it) have a different keyboard, looks just like my 9575...

If I recall correctly, it used to be that the FHD XPS had a different keyboard to the 4K version, even as strange as that might sound.

Thank you all for the replies. I got the 9370 Full HD and I really, really like the keyboard on it. Unfortunately the display is a bit small so I am thinking to get a 9570 4k, I actually ordered it but do not know when it will arrive. I had a 9560 at home when it came out and the keys were totally mushy, that's why I sent it back :/

Some 9570 users have reported better feeling keys with less "wiggle" when compared to the 9560. Mine still hasn't arrived so I can't comment on that. I do love the keyboard on the 9575 though.

I recall something in the line of the FHD version having a more damped keyboard while the 4K version was more "clattery" and also recall some posts about it. Was a few years ago though and why the type of screen would affect that is beyond me.
