    Hey,

I own an XPS 17 L702x 3D Notebook. I was wandering if it is possible to connect an eGPU to it and use it with either its own internal Display or an external one.

I tried reading into this, but there's just so much information and I am not exactly a technical expert  . So can anybody tell me if it is possible, e.g. if my notebook has the right ports (it does not have expresscard slot for example, is that a problem?).

If it is possible, what hardware would I have to buy? Would 3D movies and gaming still be possible?

    Thanks in advance,
    SiriusVI :)

I have the same laptop. It's probably possible to connect an eGPU but it would definitely involve tearing apart the machine to find the mPCIe so in my opinion, it's not worth it. Just buy a laptop with an expresscard slot, it's much easier.
