I also have heavy mouse glitches when copying files from one hdd to second hdd both hocked to TB dell dock. Touchpad works fine while I cant move mouse until copying finishes.

Hmm, I'm on the latest bios, mouse seems to be fine smoothness-wise (MX Master 2s ftw) - but I am using bluetooth rather than the dongle, and swapped out the Killer card with an Intel 9260 if that helps anyone.

Actually, when I had mouse glitches I also used a TB dock (a small one, non Dell). But I also did the TB firmware update some days ago. I wonder if it could be the new TB firmware?

Are there actually any new TB16 firmwares, or perhaps you are using another dock?

There is a TB3 chipset firmware update posted here few days ago.
    Here it is:
It worked for me when I plugged in my 3rd party TB dock.
But the new TB driver won't update. I'll try to uninstall the old one and install the new one.

I think this one supersedes the WD15 (USB-C).
For TB16 successors you should check WD19TB (WD19DC is dual-cable for power-hungry Precisions)
