I've flagged the things that look off to me in the Sleep Study; this is with modern standby. I lose about 7-8% every 8 hours.

Apart from running synthetic benchmarks and comparing the figures I guarantee you would not notice any difference between the two - in real world use.

I'd be more inclined to look at TBW on the drive for longevity, and don't forget running these benchmarks takes a chunk of the drives life away.

Just ran benchmark on my 2TB Toshiba. See below. The Toshiba looks very competitive to me.

I said in an earlier post it benchmarked badly. That was based on a single score from userbenchmark.com, which said it was performing way below expectations at around 400MB/s. Not sure what happened there but I revise my opinion.

    It certainly feels quick IRL.

For comparison I have another computer with a 256GB Samsung NVME 256GB 950pro

Seems like there was a new BIOS release today, 1.3.1. Of course, Dells updater can't find it and release notes are nowhere to be found...

Looks good, very fast. Matches what I read about it, it matches and sometimes even surpasses the Samsung.

How a firmware update can mitigate coil wine is beyond my comprehension.
