You can wait to uninstall the killer drivers until after the install, its just preference.
Whenever I switched the wifi cards, i just went by the color coding on the card...not sure if this changed in your situation.

Hello guys, 2 days ago i decide to do a clean install of windows 10 20H2 and without notice it windows update downloaded bios 1.19.2 (i had 1.9.4) and when i restarded windows to complete the updates (i have it connected to a external monitor) wouldn`t do anything, i disconnected the external monitor and still the laptop screen was black but the fans was on and the light power on, i waited but still nothing and i decided to shut it down, i had to press more than 10sec do shut it down.

After that when i start the laptop after the dell logo i got this (A7) Me FW Downgrade - Request MeSpiLock Failed https://imgur.com/IgkLVZ7 and the processor was stuck at 1.6ghz, i tried to update with the latest bios 1.20.0 and i got this error https://imgur.com/jcbRDa2 https://imgur.com/y3IZnoW

I tried this and it didnt work https://www.dell.com/community/Desk...owngrade-Request-MeSpiLock-Failed/m-p/4728275 I tried to flash it with a bootable usb flash driver and i got the same error. But when i tried to update pressing F12 and chose bios update option i got this screen https://imgur.com/wAy599k

After all that i opened the laptop and do a CMOS reset, the processor came back to normal but i still got the (A7) Me FW Downgrade - Request MeSpiLock Failed and i cant updated or downgrade bios.

    Any ideas, help? thanks

SpiLock sounds like innocent enough software lol. Particularly running on the innocuous & transparent Intel Management Engine.

This is a suggestion for a different computer

my 9560 is clocking down to 0.8 GHz every time i use an adobe application (bridge, photoshop, lightroom) - or maybe it always when the nvidia display driver is supposed to be used. google does not seem to know anything about this. do you?

obviously, those are the programs most needing the computing power. they are almost useless at 0.8 GHz...

but for me it happens before the computer has overheated or reached its limits, and it did not happen when i had an older version of win10 on the machine. yes, my nvidia drivers are the latest from dell.

id try reinstalling or rolling back to your old nvidia driver and see if that solves the issue.

rolling back the nVidia drivers is a good idea. worth a try. but the software environment is so complex that re-install is not really an option.
