I would agree to use something if the computer had been subject to any mod on my part, but since it is under prosupport, I want dell to keep it in perfect condition. I have never heard of a PC losing screws without human intervention...
Have you suffered this on an xps?

I had a loose screen hinge, they are under a lot of stress when opened and closed but shouldn't come apart.

LocTite instructions may say that it is not for use with plastics. It can cause them to fall apart.

A few of the XPS bottom plate screws go into some type of plastic so I use the blue LocTite only on the screws that go into metal and then just check up on the others on ocassion.

You should buy yourself a nice T5 screwdriver m8.

Woa, I am scared to reboot in case this is a hickup (and the amount of chrome tabs I have open) but the 2.3 NVMe driver and the 3B7QCXE7 firmware seem to have enabled bitlocker support.

    *edit
Still there after a reboot, might have to go through the pita process of creating a win2go drive, secure erasing and installing windows again to enable this!

Wow! I just checked and I am missing one of the bottom screws and many of them are not tight. Given that I have taken the laptop apart at least 5 times, it is probably expected :) Ordered some threadlock.

XPS screw come with self lock adhesive, if you been repaste/open chassis the adhesion may degrade thereby the vibration may causing the screw loose and drop out.

No joy getting hardware bitlocker running despite a secure erase setting encrypted drive to enabled, bored of it now so macrium's restoring the image.

Yes BUT the ram is slower than standard, you should look for DDR2400 unless you get get that kit silly cheap as in 150 euro's

You would be better with Part Number: HX424S14IBK2/32
