I'm not sure to understand your point with "scam" and how it's related with me but I've been exchanging emails and calls with them since 2 months and got shipped a PM951 that I'll return soon since it's literally worse than the Toshiba XG4 I actually own. The email about service tag is a reply of the conversation since I've spoken about it on the phone and thought I'd get one or two service tag from this forum to just to prove them but seeing the replies it seems that service tag is very personal...

I guess I'll have the forum messages as proof then...

Note : I wouldn't mind giving you the service tag of my xps in pm if that'd allow me to have yours just for the sake of replying to Dell

Hi. I am curious how did you test/measure difference between those SSDs so you conclude XG4 better than PM951??

Probably with a benchmarking program such as AS-SSD or Crystal Disk Mark. We all know that these benchmarks equal real world performance... Yes that was sarcasm

Can you clarify what is DDU? Which drivers do you install then?

    Thanks

I returned back gamma slider by simply uninstalling latest dell's intel hd driver, then windows installed drivers automatically.
Now it says version is 21.20.16.4574.

That's could be probably true in case when he measured it via something different than AS-SSD or CDM ... I am pretty sure Samsung drive is faster in that "real-world benchmarks" ;)
    That's why I asking: how measurements done ?.... :)

I just ran my first benchmark (used AS SSD Benchmark) on my PM961 SSD and was surprised at the low numbers. Is something wrong or am I misunderstanding what I should be reading?

    Seq Read: 2303MB/s Write: 333MB/s
    4k 21MB/s 1.1MB/1
    4k 64 423 14
    Acc time .100ms 4.397ms

    score 675 49

    974

I was under the impression I should be getting FAR faster seq write times? I'm not too familiar with what these various numbers mean but how do you guys read those results? Should I be doing something differently?

    You can either:
    1. Use crystal disk mark to measure performance
    2. Set up your SSD in AHCI mode and install the samsung NVMe driver and then retest with AS-SSD
