Try this, removes all the crap but leaves the recovery section I believe.

In fact this guy has a ton of videos have a look through, there is some helpful stuff there like the setting up video where he shows you some ways to check the laptop before you start it up etc.

Look at the threads in this forum & you will see the "XPS 15 9550 temperature observations (undervolt + repaste)" thread, hard to miss is is one of the most active threads
Also I have a new UK ISO up (1st link in my sig)
And a guide if you click the 2nd link for the 9550 but totally relevant to the 9560 with the correct drivers.
Pads, you don't need any the ones it came with work fine but a few members are on a mission to change everything and halfords up the internals with tape and pads galore in the temp thread.

No it is not acceptable to rip apart a new laptop and fit a refurbished panel then try and make parts fit properly hence me waiting to take delivery of a 3rd, get it right 1st time or send a replacement or a refund is what I tend to say.

Is $1960 a good price for the i7 16gb 1tb UHD configuration before taxes and additional warranties?

How do you check that the order will have the Samsung SSD? Is there anything else you should be checking on during the pending order/shipment phase?

Yea, I saw that but it's an in store pickup in a place I don't live and I ordered a 9569 :) So is it a good price for the 9560 with those specs?
Also, how do you check that the order will have the Samsung SSD? Is there anything else you should be checking on during the pending order/shipment phase?

Thanks all! I've read through all 122 pages of this thread and have picked up some interesting tidbits along the way - many questions answered. Will report back when it arrives, should be before next Friday!

You can get it for $1900 after taxes if there isn't a microcenter store in your area. I got my 512 GB version for 1600 OTD.
