I've had this machine for 2 years now and it has been mostly problem free, but now it misses keystrokes if I type at my normal pace. It works fine as long as there is time between each keystroke, but this is really annoying. I've tried updating the BIOS to the latest version, but this did not help (and possibly made it worse). Has anyone seen anything of this sort before? Is there some keyboard driver that needs an update?

Never mind, updating the Thunderbolt driver seems to have fixed it. Who writes firmware this way? The Thunderbolt cable wasn't even attached to anything on the other end, but removing it from the port fixed the keyboard and updating the Thunderbolt driver to the recently released one makes it work even with the cable plugged in. Seriously...
