Did that 8432 Realtek update break Waves MaxxAudio for anyone else? It just has no effect, you can crank a bunch of the knobs and EQ and turn the thing on and off, switch between saved profiles - nothing happens

I had to google an old driver page and install an old version to get it working again

It might just be me having caught the cold recently. But it 8432 sounds incredibly shrill and unpleasant for me.

Yeah that's how it sounds without the Waves stuff active. Guess it's not just me huh :/

https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=hh8w2 is what I rolled back to, and that works - no idea if there's a more recent version, they don't list older versions for this driver for some reason

I see that the new BIOS includes an update to the Intel Management Interface firmware. That update reduced BIOS boot times on my XPS15 by close to 2 seconds.

When the laptop was new, BIOS boot times were around 8 seconds. Over time, they had increased to close to 10 seconds, but, now, they are back to right around 8 seconds.
