They are not new, always check the original release date.

For the Wi-Fi, if you only install the 11ac drivers, what happens if you are in a location that only supports 11n connection? Are you simply unable to connect? Not all routers are using 11ac yet?

Take it with a grain of salt, but I have had no issues with A00. Did a new install with Spring Creator's Update, except freezing which seems to be Intel GPU related all the drivers listed work fine.

That is for the 1535AC card, installing the AC driver means you can still connect to 802.11n networks

Thanks for the note on the network drivers. I was confused at first.

    Hi guys, new person here.

Just a note ref the "Realtek Audio w/ MaxxAudioPro [A02, installs Realtek 6.0.1.8372]" drivers.

On my machine I got a note from the fat controller saying that the "Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) OED" drivers hadn't loaded, I uninstalled the above drivers and loaded the current dell drivers "Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_HH8W2_WIN_6.0.1.8216_A09.EXE" and all was fine, anyone else get this?

And do the advantages of the new driver outweigh having the Smart Sound OED driver broken?

Oh and thanks for the info here...

    same thing happened to me
you to need to force update
Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller
in device manager to the same version as the one on the OED, otherwise it wont start

For my XPS15, BIOS 1.9.1 increased boot time by about 3 seconds.

Reset the BIOS, check the setup and set fast boot back to minimal, see if that helps?

TBH I can live with 3 seconds.
