And now the bloody thing was stuck at 0.79 Ghz and refused to charge....had to open it up and pull the battery to get it working again. Seriously Dell...

Which usb-c charger works? My 65W Lenovo USB-C puts out 20V 3.25A but won’t charge the xps 15 7590 battery. I would like one charger in my office which can charge this and my X1 Yoga. Perhaps a bigger Lenovo charger would work?

Well, pulling the battery seem to have solved the problem though and for the last couple of days the TB16 (240W version) have been able to provide at least 130W it seems. Have to decide soon if I should take my chances or return it and go for an X1E instead but I wonder if the grass is really greener on the other side or if it is more of the same.

Mine does the same thing so far Dell has replaced the cpu fans, heatsinks and mainboard now but they said they won't take the 3rd party app. finding as they don't support it so I am back at step 1 again as the cpu usage and memory are using running at 80-90% not sure what I can do now as Dell considers it fixed because they replaced parts.

The refreshed XPS 15 7590 haven't been here so long... If this new one follow its predecessor XPS 15 9570 then expect some not so nice firmware updates:)

    Well, lets hope not :)

That said, I have to say that so far its been running quite nice, the DPC problem isnt really noticeable that much IRL (I am not a music producer or anything, as long as Spotify works and no obvious lag, I am happy). And the i9 seems to be working surprisingly well with not to much fan noise. That said, I've probably adjusted my expectations based on previous XPS experience and I have not really done any benches etc.
