I have one that would pretty much fill all your needs (including the GPS), but it does not have touch.

BTW, where in SC are you located? While I am in Mexico Beach, FL (due to my work), my wife, house and all the animals are in Summerville. Have lived there since 1995 and been in the CHS area since 1988.

I am in the Orangeburg area, not for too much longer, hopefully! Have applied to a few other agencies around the state.
Oh I meant to specify Internal Bluetooth, I could add a touchscreen, never tried it, will one from a cf-28 work, I am interested, pls let me know.

I have a few CF-29L models (1.6Ghz mk4) only thing is that they are pretty much a base model no gps or bluetooth. and the touchscreen doesn't work right. They have good batteries and come with either the backlit emissive or the backlit rubber.

You can't swap the 28 screens onto 29s. they have a different hardware set up and the TS ribbon cable is on the opposite side of the one on the 29. I'm sure you could get it to work but it really wouldn't be worth the time it would take

Lemme know if you are interested in the 29 i have it's under the price you want.

I have one 29 that's my keeper, but the other is almost identical in specs and they are both great cosmetically. Are you sure you do not want a HDD? I just installed a new 160GB 5400 RPM and have installed XP Pro with SP3 and Office 2007 (all updates done and drivers up to date). If you are still interested, I will finger out a price that is close to what you want to pay.

Okay, here goes what I have available. Look over the options and then make your choices and I will give you a price.

    CF-29 with 13.3 non-touch
    1.6 processor
    1.25 RAM
60GB 5400 RPM HDD (I put the larger one in my keeper)
Your choice of DVD/CDRW or DVD multi drive
Standard black/gray keyboard but the rubber backlit is available
    XP Pro with COA
GPS on factory sled (no Bluetooth, but it has the spot on the sled)
    Built in Intel WIFI
WWAN ready with the sled, antenna and switch on front panel
    SD slot
Brand new second battery pack for the optical drive bay
    All covers are present
Very few small scratches and no scuffs on the screen, overall condition would be 9/10
    Power supply
All Panny drivers are installed, Office 2007 is not installed, but I can at no charge (no COA)
Fieldmate case with constant on capability (brand new)

CF-29's use IDE hard drives not SATA

as far as i know the largest 7200rpm hard drive made in IDE was 100GB

Just keep that in mind :)

    DVD multi (is an rw?)

rubber backlit is good with me

GPS definitely , do you what type of bluetooth module and antenna?

media pocket battery would be a yes

office I have 2k3, is there much difference?

Do you have just the power to computer cable for the lind auto adapter?

I will be using it in my patrol unit, replacing the good old '28, it is good that I get to supply my own, it is bad that I have to foot the bill. Sorry it took an extra day to get back to you, I was having trouble with the board last night.
Oh, one more question, is it in FL with you, or are you coming up to SC, soon, I can come and pick it up, if it is the latter!

Zippy man, I thought they had a 7200 320gb (IDE that is), I had a 7200 160gb, but sold it to a friend, (for his cf-28), and have a 120 GB 7200 in my cf-28, I know they are discontinued, now, so I was looking into ssd, but that is expensive!
