Would you get Dell to replace this screen?

    Make sure you watch in 720p and check out the dark semi circle at acute angles.

    Definitely!!
    If the M18x screen is not the best one on the block i would expect it to be at least 100% flawless, so yes i would call them to have it replaced.

    Yea , call your rep ask for replacement , I had a dot of dead pixel they replaced for me :)

    I would, but only if you have already reinstalled your video drivers, sometimes we get faulty equipment.

    Defo not video driver related.
    I'm off on holiday soon 21st so I guess I'll get them to look at it after that.

    Anyone in the UK aware of how quickly a tech would come to replace? I'm hoping a screen replacement is fairly quick.

    I guess also, as it is barley noticable face on i'm worried the replacement will end up with dead pixels..this one has none!

    Screen assemblies are not considered user serviceable parts so they'll send a local tech to your house to replace it.

    Just make sure it works 100%, check for dead pixels or other flaws before he leaves.
    Don't let him go if there's something wrong until he calls Dell to get you a new screen assembly.

    I'll righty I'll plan it in for a home visit soon then. I guess there isnt any real rush I've got 3 years warranty.
