so , as my sig shows i have an m18x with 6970m CF. for some reason ( for thoes who do play wow) i get like 30-45fps at orgrimmar and some other zones.
now world of warcraft is an old game... and 6970m CF should not give me results such as 40 fps in this game.

any thoughts on the matter ?

P.S i tryed all drivers that came up invluding the 12.3 RC that recently poped.

when i was playing with my m18 and 6970's, i had 60 fps EVERYWHERE, and 90-110 with v-sync off...

try running it with just one card, see if the performance is the same.

Did you double check if your CF is actually on?

WoW is actually more of a "CPU hog" than a "GPU hog".

I do run with 60 fps anywhere with 45-50 fps in raid (v-sync on). I did notice a dip in fps when I have shadows on ultra. Try dialing that down a tad.

Also, running the x64 client might help improve your fps and load times a bit.

    Hope that helps.

Good idea, i will try that. Didnt know wow is more cpu based. I will try alsi diabling turbo boost and download that cpu programm that forgot its name which will force the cpu to work on max 24/7

nothing of the above realy helped the fps , still gettting betweetn 20-35 fps in middle of orgrimmar.
I even tryed throttle stop programm , but not sur ei managed to work it right, since u said WoW is more CPu than GPU based. figured to cancel turbo boost on my CPU and somehow increase its performance but not sure i know how to do so.

Are you playing in fullscreen mode? CF isn't enabled when not in fullscreen (Full screen windowed mode doesn't count).

    ya tryed it all...
full screen with CF is same as full screen window mode in CF... same goes for when i try it full screen with one card... same results...
i shouldnt be getting 25-36 fps there... for a system like this.
    sigh
it doesnt bother me much , but if i paid the buck might as well get the results...
