    Hey there

I recently changed my windows soundscheme using Stardock SoundPackager but when I connect my Bluetooth headphones the sounds play through my speakers not the headphones.

WMP and all other sound output goes through my headphones just not the windows sounds.

Would anyone be able to tell me what's wrong here?

Thanks in advance for any help on this. :)

If your default playback device is set to the BT headset, then everything should come through that. Go to Control Panel > Sound and make sure.

Yeah that's just it, I have the default playback device set to the bluetooth headseat.

Sometimes it does work fine then other times it puts the sounds through the speakers.

It's not all the sounds though, it's only a few, two in particular are the sounds when I minimize a window or maximise a window.

I've uninstalled Soundpackager now and it's still doing it so it wasn't the app that is at fault, something to do with XP and my bluetooth headset.

And I've restarted a number of times just to make sure as well.

This is rather confusing considering it's not happening with every sound and not all the time.

The windows default sound scheme works fine...
