    Hello Everyone,

i recently bought a Schenker XMG Ultra 15 Notebook with the following specs:

    • 15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) 120Hz/5ms Wide Viewing | non-glare | G-SYNC
    • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 | 8 GB GDDR5
    • Intel Core i7-8700K | 3,7 - 4,7 GHz | 6 Kerne / 12 Threads | 12MB Cache | 95 Watt | delided
    • 16 GB (2x8) DDR4 RAM Crucial Ballistix Sport LT | 2400 MHz
    • Samsung SSD 960 PRO M.2 512GB
    • Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 | inkl. Bluetooth 4.2

I have tried to install windows 7 64bit ultimate with a boot stick created with universal usb installer.
Luckily my rig has a usb 2.0 port so the windows loading file boot setup worked without a problem.
The problem is as soon as i want to start the installation the setup says "Load Driver & Missing CD/DVD drive device driver"
I have read in this thread :http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...r-intel-skylake-and-kaby-lake-laptops.803630/
that the problem is maybe caused by the missing USB 3.0 driver.

The solution is quite simple i have "just" to finde the correct driver, but i dont know the correct mainboard number/name. Schenker support only told me that the brand of the mainboard company maybe is "Goldenstar or Clevo". I hope that one of you notebook experts could help me to find the correct usb 3.0 mainboard driver.

You could use CPU-Z to find out your motherboard spec / version / info, etc.

You do not need to know the brand of your motherboard. Because you have intel CPU, your motherboard is intel based, so use the Windows 7* USB 3.0 Creator Utility or Embedded Utility Windows Image Tool for your installation media.
I also did now some edit on my guide, because you misunderstand some steps.

Sorry for the late update guys.
I got it working luckily on the same day by following the instructions given in the video, posted in Atom Ant´s thread.

@Atom Ant Did you tried the written programm by this polish guy?

It sounds very interesting, maybe the performance is even better and smother because of using the windows 10 installer and this massive pack of drivers.
Maybe in the summer when my nas is running i will try it out just for curiosity.
