Windows 7 installation help for Intel Skylake and Kaby Lake laptops

    Nope, I'm pretty sure that made it exclusive to Win10 for exactly this reason...

    What was the partition layout of USB MBR or GPT?

    I forced Rufus to use UEFI GPT but honestly, I didn't check what was after.

    Just checked it with Diskpart - it's GPT partition.

    Windows installed but after installation getting 0xc000000d error with bcd. Tried plenty of guides with repairing bcd like bootrec scanos etc. Still not working.

    Too sad you cannot manage to install Win 7 on your computer. Unfortunately I do not have Acer laptop to check if the same problem would occur also to me. Maybe check some Dell laptops or you have to go with Win 10...

    @Dantei could also try Windows 8.1, at least it's stable, even though Windows 7 is preferred at least Windows 8.1 isn't Windows 10 :)

    Anybody could mod the latest Intel driver for me? I mean the April month version works fine, but , because I going to reinstall the Windows, I'd like the newest drivers.
