While I also would prefer Windows 7 laptop with the most recent GPU, eg. Nvidia GTX1650-1660ti, I’ve found this quality laptop from Asus with Amd Ryzen 7 3750H processor. I still searching how good is this CPU, but wounder if AMD more Windows 7 compatibel than Intel 8th and 9th gen?

There are a couple of threads mentioning the 3750H:

Probably best to strike up discussions on that CPU there. AMD has gotten better about supporting Windows 7 "unofficially" with drivers, but it's going to be an issue to resolve machine by machine, also with Windows 8.1 support at some point.

    Good luck :)

    Very interesting laptop indeed.

It may work, I've found a guide, which I have re-worked how to mod the Ryzen mobile Windows 10 driver to Windows 7.

    1) Download the Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.4.3 Optional Driver
    2) Run the downloaded file and give the location to extract files
    3) Go to Packages\Drivers\Display\WT6A_INF
    4) Open U0341662.inf in notepad (F4 in Total Commander)
    5) Find this section [ATI.Mfg.NTamd64.10.0]
    6) Copy content of this section
    7) Find section [ATI.Mfg.NTamd64.6.1]
    8) Paste everything to this section
    9) Save file
    10) Either try to run the installer or just Install drivers via Device Manager and select folder where you have modified U0341662.inf file

I think I'll buy a cheaper Dell Ryzen laptop to do some tests and if the modded driver working I might buy the mentioned ASUS laptop too.

So i had that cheap AMD Ryzen dell laptop, and actually i have installed Windows 7 on it, but I have got blue screen time to time and every time when i tried to install the AMD GPU. It is some short of acpi issue as i reading other forums, not even the desktop APUs working with Windows 7.
Otherwise non APUs, but Ryzen processors up to the newest Matisse 3rd Gen Ryzen, they do work with Windows 7!

    I 'fixed' Windows 7 USB support for Matisse / Ryzen 3000 on X370 / X470

It means, there is still life for Windows 7!
And because exist a few wonderful mini ITX motherboards and sleek house like Fractal design node 202, I decided to sell my laptops and use instead a custom build mini PC with the most recent AMD and Nvidia hardware, a 27” Asus 144hz IPS monitor and of course Windows 7. What a dream combination, I could newer find it in a laptop! And I think I won’t even miss the laptop’s portability, since if I travel I take Ipad anyway...

All right, so because now only few of you interested to use Windows 7 and not even working with the newest laptops, these thread can be closed! Thanks for visiting!

Keep up this topic, look at how many views! Windows 7 is still viable, even gets directX 12 support.
Post some screenshots of your new Ryzen PC, I m curious how is that perform, though i am also interested in mini ITX systems.
