Are the Dell reps paid off by Microsoft to not do any compatibility with Windows 7?

Windows 7 is on EOL list and once you're having issues you're on your own! But the same thing applies on W10 when W10 certified driver doesn't work on win 10!!!

What is this UEFI thing actually? We can still install Windows 7 on 8th gen Intel laptops or?
Somebody gonna try that new IGP driver? I'm very interested too!

So nobody tries that driver? Hmm, I have the feeling Im gonna be again the guinea pig...
The second thing that bothers me, if I can install Windows 7 on these modern hardware, why cannot I make Vista to boot? I’d like to use Vista, because that is even better looking OS than Win 7.

I had the same problem with my P870KM1-G, please look here, maybe Acer BIOS case is the same (ability to mod).
As for modding Win7 installation to make it work (VGA mode drivers with UEFI/GOP for installer and boot), yes it`s possible but risky and kind of last resort option.

Yes, now we are collecting here the last options and your input can be usefull for others. Bugging it is so difficult to install Windows 7 on these new hardware. Especially bugging Windows 7 not even an old OS. In Windows 7’s main time was easy to install older OS, like every Win 7 machine could run Windows XP perfectly.
