Sweet, thanks guys. The middle click button on my mouse is retarded so I will be using the shift + click method. Still, this is so much more work for something that used to be so simple.

For you admin types, if you shift click a Folder, you get a "Open a command prompt with admin priv" option. A GODSEND.

Here's the deal: I'm receiving my brand new notebook this week and I want to install Windows 7 onto it, but since it still isn't out yet and I don't want to install my good old version of XP, I would like to install the "Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (build 7600)" onto my machine while I wait for the official release.

But I have no idea how to do this ...

I assume I need to do the following: 1) get a product key for my specific version, 2) download the correct version, 3) burn it onto a DVD & 4) install onto my new notebook.

    I need help with steps 2) and 3) ...

I already went to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/download.aspx to get a product key for the release candidate, but Microsoft seems to have stopped all downloads for Windows 7 ... So first of all, can anyone direct me to a place where I can download the version I want ? (there seems to be tons of them online, but I can't figure out which one I need ...)

    thank you

No, you will have to find that information somewhere other than NBR. No one here can help you with that.

    A couple of noob-questions...
What would be the easiest way to combine my files from Vista to 7 ? Can I make "My Documents" the same folder by editing register? And is there a way to use Vista programs while in 7?
