Aww shox...they done changed it up...I really got used to the tools being on the side! I hope the toolbar is customizable/movable.

Anyhow...i'm really looking forward to Windows 7. I hope 99% of .Vista's issues are worked out in that release.

It's interesting how they are extending the ribbon beyond Office 07...

I wonder how far this will go

That's looks like Office...I don't mind having the ribbon in Office but changing the normal menu will not be appreciated by most of the people. Just check how many persons doesn't like the new facebook.

And Windows 7 is the last nail in Vista's coffin.

A first I hated the new Office 2007 layout but once I got used to it which took about 3 day I really like it a lot better. I dont see why people cry so much when a 14 year old layout changes to make things easier once you get used to it. I use Office 2007 and have been since Beta and I love it and the new changes. For those that are afraid of a little change and have to cry about innovation and still sucking on your mamas teet, use Office 2003. I give Kudos to Microsoft for the big and awesome changes and hope to still see them coming. I am not afraid of new stuff. As for Facebook, I am starting to like it to. Go Facebook....

You know Windows 7 will be an evolution of Vista, right? Vista isn't going to disappear overnight. They still release security updates for Windows 2000, and XP/2003 should have destroyed that outright years ago.

I kind of like Vista, a lot better than XP.

Still, I installed a Linux distro the other day (Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop) and may never install Windows 7.

Vista still uses the same engine as XP (Windows NT). If Windows 7 delivers the good, ie a significant improvement over Windows NT, you can expect everyone to drop Vista and move to this one. Of course Vista is better than XP, but it didn't worth upgrading from XP.
