Is this the one with the retpoline style mitigations for Spectre that don't reduce performance. As we know currently we're living with about 2-5% performance decrease when enabling Spectre mitigations in Windows, I had heard that these new retpoline style mitigations will turn this on it's head and effectively we'll get back all that lost performance. Do you know if it's included in this update (1903)?

    Windows 10 successor: These innovations brings the 19H1 update computerbild.de | Jan 25, 2019
Retpoline: More speed despite Specter2 patch
As early as 2018 under the name Specter / Meltdown serious security vulnerabilities in processors from Intel, AMD and ARM came to light, published software and hardware manufacturers numerous updates to protect users from possible attacks. Disadvantage: In particular, the microcode patches supplied by the CPU manufacturers against the Specter2 variant, depending on the processor and Windows version, still cause some significant performance losses. Therefore, in October 2018, the Twitter made for a good moodAnnouncement by Microsoft Chief Developer Mehmet Iyigun that Google has implemented the Linux patch "Retpoline" and another feature called Import Optimization that minimizes the negative effects of microcodes. Iyigun responded to an astonished Windows insider who had noticed a significant speed improvement in data transfer after switching to version 19H1.

Usually I go for Clean install. Let's see how it works after GP testing is done. I might upgrade to it or perhaps hold off until end of 2019.

Slightly offtopic here. Remember this W10 Dark theme with black Explorer's background color? I consider it one of the few actually useful features of 10 since it's very birth with multiple workspaces, Pause/Resume copying processes and quick Wi-Fi spot creation... I just understood that Windows 7 can do Dark mode too and many others with the help of patching theme dlls and choosing any theme you like from devianart or elsewhere.
Looks like it will take more years till amount of convenience breakthroughs reaches 2 hands to count.
