A number of people have been mentioning that, I haven't seen that "aha" post yet where people figured it out.

Isn't there a "show more plans" click spot?

You can add a custom plan to get the missing ones back... I've had to do that before, it only takes a few minutes.

No there is not. As soon as I switched from high performance to a custom plan I lost the high performance plan as well as power saver plan. Tried a registry setting and that came up bupkis.

After Windows 10 Creators Update, Power Options are Missing/Unavailable
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...e/804914d9-c5d2-4890-a15e-1bd7efa38f15?auth=1
Just starting to read it, 47 replies with 162 have the same question... so it's wide spread.

    A bunch more links...
    https://www.google.com/search?clien...+power+plans&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Root cause / related changes / changed interface, check this out...

"The Windows team continues its efforts to bring more settings to the modern user interface, but this remains frustrating. Left-click the power icon, for example, and you get a new slider that lets you select between “best battery life” and “best performance”. There is a link to Battery Settings with more options. Right-click and choose Power Options and you get the old control panel power plans, with fine-grained settings. It is hard to know where to look, and more consistency is still needed."

at least it keeps the high perf plan's settings so i made another high perf (just called 'High Perf') plan then followed the video below.

Probably a good idea to do this swap as balance and power saver aren't really used in my case. It didn't appear to delete any custom plans that were previously created.

M$ Morons changed power plans and put in balanced power only due their own goal. See...
Windows 10 on Snapdragon SoCs Coming Soon Says Microsoft – Battery Is Going to Be a Huge Selling Point
    [IMG]
"Windows 10 Mobile might not receive the development love that it rightfully deserves but it looks like there is a silver lining in all of this. Microsoft has been working at a frantic pace to make sure that its Windows 10 operating system can work fluidly on Snapdragon chipsets[IMG] According to the company, Windows 10 on Qualcomm chipsets are in the final stages of development and will be arriving soon, with a lot of perks being laid out at the same time."
They want that everyone follow their agenda.... Throttling apps and balanced power. What you want doesn't matter.

Look into WinCrap Mobility Center instead of Power Options. As in the pict. Why can't M$ Morons[IMG] let the power plan be in Power Options as always before? More and more stupidity coming from Redmond HQ!! A Hell lot of people can't find it as it is now. Probably as intended!!

I see. I guess the only way forward is to do what I did and put in a custom high performance profile and make it the default as per me previous post.

I even tried to edit the registry and nothing. They're not hidden, they're completely removed / deleted. I can't see them in the powercfg in cmd.

    Another possible place to look:

    Ch3t
    "Settings->System->Power&Sleep->Related Settings->Additional Power Settings
Took me forever to find my power plans."

And, confirmation of the new interface:

    "neutral_fence_sitter
Fall Creators Update - You get a Power/Performance slider for both battery and AC modes."

No Power Plans After Windows 10 Creators Update
    https://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/6x1t36/no_power_plans_after_windows_10_creators_update/

"Hey fellow Surfacers - I recently updated my surface book pro to Windows creators update (1703) and now all of the sudden all of my power plans are gone. Also, I had done a registry edit to allow me to change parameters like the CPU utilization so I could save more battery life when necessary and now that's gone too.

Anybody else experience this when updating?

Kind of annoyed and not sure if I should uninstall the update in case this is a sign that its not stable and there's problems with it or if I should just redo all my power plans and keep it. Anybody else having any issues with this version?"

No, jusk click the power plan you want in WinCrap Mobility Center instead of Power Options!!
    upload_2017-10-21_5-19-26.png
Then change more in power Options. Now "High perfomance" as before. (Change advanced power settings).

As I said in previous post.... They want that all follow their own goal!!
