    I'm inclined to believe it was caused by Intel HT bug. He seemed to be stressing on hyper threaded buzzword often.

    I don't remember... But will Intel's HT bug only screw up with Windoze X? As Win 7 isn't affected. + Sure he hasn't updated his hardware?

    Intel HT bug is for all OS potentially, but initially discovered in Debian. I don't think this guy's problem is that though.

    The mouse lockup issue is not really new to me on a similar workflow setup as his.
    I have seen it happen on my dev machines that are 6/10core in W8/W10.

    Might be telemetry of Visual Studio or similar IDEs that Google Engineer uses.

    well, I switched to Chrome for a bit and had to move back to edge. No swipe actions is a killer for me. I hate having to goto the back arrow to go back a page while using my trackpad....or better yet swiping my screen is even easier.

    For touch, edge beats everything for now. I use on it on my phone though its not perfect.
