Windows 10 update: Windows could not configure one or more components

    Its a Windows feature, not a service. So go to Control Panel/Programs and Features, then click Turn Windows features on or off. If IIS is turned on, make note of whats enabled, uncheck, reboot, then try your upgrade again. Might work, might not, but worth a try

    I've done everything above, I've disabled/uninstalled my video card and wireless card before rebooting, booted with no startup items running, deleted the update downloads folder, even tried to install Windows 10 keeping files and apps from a USB stick with the Media Creation program from MS. And I still get the error at 45% on restarts.

    I'm out of ideas and I've googled this for a month looking for answers.
