that's useless bro. It just tells you how to restore a plan to its default settings. the problem with the Fall Creators Update is it has NO Power Saver and High Performance Plan, those need to be created manually. So I'm not seeing what benefit is that link above, with all due respect

Is there a guide how to remove balanced Power plan completely from the planet? Aka a cleaner power plan.

Maybe power subsytem options are commented out so naturally there's a chance of restoring it.

Guys there is an easier way to restore it. Simply make a new power plan and it will ask you to choose between Balanced, High Perfomance and Battery Saver, you'll just have to rename it. That's how i got them back on my laptop.

edit: aw, i just realized Phoenix mentioned it already. woopsie

@Phoenix If I added O&O Shutup10, do you still recommend doing the other "disable telemetry" and suggestions under the index? Examples: "Stop Windows 10 spying on you using just Windows Firewall", "Mr. Fox's Tweaks", "Winaero Tweaker"

Is there no way to change that Windows does automatic updates?

What are the pros and cons of disabling Windows automatic driver updates?

There are only Pros and no cons.
    Cons:
    - system instability
    -More headaches
    etc..
Use Policy Plus from github to disable that policy Or disable BITS and WU service and only enable them whenever Tuesday patch is out for auto updates. I use WHDownloader for offline updates only. So, I use WU and BITS to update UWP apps.

    Hi @Phoenix

Thanks for your help last time. I looked at tour win 10 tweaks and decided to try the above with my new laptop, following all your recommendation above too.
Once I restarted my laptop, I saw the laptop logo, it then turns to an all black screen and I can only see the mouse cursor (can move it around) but its stuck in this black screen.

Have tried to turn it off (holding power button, no way to turn off properly) and when I turn it on again, still the same problem.

Please help me. Kinda regret even trying this.
    Anyway to fix it? Thanks.
