Like Hell Phoenix would spend anything on junk HW.
I was thinking of HP Nvme drive with 768bit Micron SSD.

What with this mess? Microsoft blocked Windows 10 April Update install on Alienware laptops Is it fixed?

Unfortunately, if you own an Alienware laptop, you still won’t be able to install the Windows 10 April Update. More specifically, irrespective of what you do, you’ll still get the following error message:

‘Some apps need to be uninstalled. These programs need to be uninstalled because they aren’t compatible with the upgrade: Hybrid laptops with discrete GPU connected to the display.’

Microsoft just acknowledged that it blocked the update on a series of Alienware laptops due to incompatibility issues. The following Alienware laptop models are concerned:

    • Alienware 13 R3
    • Alienware 15 R3
    • Alienware 15 R4
    • Alienware 17 R4
    • Alienware 17 R5

Or will the Toshiba XG4, XG5 ssd models Dell/Dellienware prefer to use screw up even more for the AW owners? I'm sure Dell is familiar with this NEW SSD flaws with Win 10 April Joke Update. Is not boiling temp enough? Must it fry before they are happy with it?

So how come Dell say they've tested Spring update on above AWs w/o any issues. http://www.dell.com/support/article...rsions-of-windows-10?lang=en#Alienware-NB-SCU

Would you trust a company who push out TRIPOD TRASH and say it work perfect? Even after 3rd RMA due ****y heatsink/thermal paste? And do they really know what ssd's they put in their computers?:D

And why edit aka modified the article? Have they cooparate with Micro$haft regarding full compability with what they use of (ALL) hardware? Nope!!

Yet another bunch of Microsoft Surfaces don’t work with Win10 version 1803
If you shelled out $3,000 to $4,500 for a Surface Studio, you may be a bit disconcerted to discover that many don’t work with the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, version 1803. Mice and keyboards keep disconnecting.

"I have to ask: Is anybody at Microsoft testing this stuff?"
