Isn't it amusing that the Newest always come at bottom for security?:) Why make a new OS if it's more prone to have security problems?

Exactly. Benchers has seen it a long time. But as you know. Some is blind and or lack the proper knowledge. Often also hit by the well known placebo effect syndrome. New has to be better, LOOL

Thanks for the video. + reps

Good video. Thanks for sharing. Newer versions of Windows 10 degrade the performance of newer hardware as well. Each version update of Windows 10 is a performance downgrade. This is, unfortunately, a matter of fact. Nice to see a fellow YouTuber that is willing to call balls and strikes against the Redmond Reprobates.

It's weird isn't it, coders/programmers have an ethos to strive for the most efficient code don't they, or is that an outdated notion.....maybe it's just driven by the marketing folks in Microsoft not allowing the coders/programmers to stand to their old ethos (by not giving them enough time or options), or did I just make all of that up!? I mean you can't expect new software to run on old hardware from a couple of decades ago, because there has to be some advancement of functionality over time that would normally be associated with increased processing power required but between 2015 and now (5 yrs) what kind of features do we have in Windows now that offer increased functionality that is justifiable for the performance hit?

Its less to do with inefficient coding than more stuff just running in the background.

That and bloat on a system that is designed to work on a wide range of systems from embedded devices to servers. Excess baggage just running on the side that somehow doesn't disable itself when it's not applicable to the system its installed on. Like workstation services, remote access functions, embedded mode, tablet/laptop switching etc

Windows 10 Version 1809-2004: Driver installation via store broken
    Posted on 2020-12-29 by guenni

Are the GUI components for drivers (e.g. for Intel Graphics or Waves MaxxAudio settings) suddenly missing after Windows 10 setup? A crude bug causes the driver GUI components originally installed as a UWP app during setup from the Microsoft Store to be removed during the OOBE phase. Here’s some information on this issue, which was detected in Windows 10 version 1809 but affects all Windows 10 builds up to Windows 10 version 2004 – it’s only fixed in Windows 10 20H2....

"Microsoft is developing an exciting new way to navigate Windows 10"

    - Microsoft is developing a new way to navigate Windows 10 computers, a “voice launcher” that will let users interact with the computer using their voice.

    - Microsoft will soon add a “voice launcher” to Windows 10 to let you interact with apps and files.

    - The voice launcher will support several languages for various regions, including English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese.

    A keyboard... How quaint.
