Unless it is released earlier than expected, it will be near the end of 2021.

We will have to test it when it is released and decide whether to accept or reject it. With LTSC we can take 10 years to decide what our next step will be. I may continue using this version along with continuing to use Windows 7. It is nice that with LTSC we are not bound by or obligated to embrace any stupidity that we deem to be unacceptable or unworthy of our acknowledgment.

Let me ask you one thing which bugged me from switching to LTSC, I believe I saw 3 version/editions in LTSC ISO/ESD. One was KMS, LTSC VLK. Which one should I choose?

    ISO is: en_windows_10_enterprise_ltsc_2019_x64_dvd_be3c8ffb.iso

    It has an SHA1 of:
    Code:

I want to install the ltsc version unfortunately i need the fix for stutters and frame-skips when running multiple monitors with different refresh rates on this upcoming 2004 update. :(

Windows 10 2004 20H1 finally gets multi-monitor refresh rates right
After nearly 13 years, Microsoft seems to have addressed an oft-ignored issue when it comes to how Windows deals with multi-monitor refresh rates. Till now, Windows 10's Desktop Window Manager (DWM) caused stutters and frame-skips when running multiple monitors with mismatched refresh rates. Windows 10 2004 20H1's DWM, which supports hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in WDDM 2.7, finally seems to have corrected this issue as demonstrated by a user on Reddit.

    https://thewincentral.com/windows-1...ltiple-monitors-with-different-refresh-rates/

However the user also mentions that it is not a 100% fix but still for most of the users would be just fine.

Thanks to u/Nosimo for pointing out this might not be a 100% fix as of yet. This is because VSync of the lower refresh rate monitor appears to be turned off to match the refresh rate of the higher monitor. This is unlikely to be an issue for most people, but if it is, judder can then somewhat be alleviated by using a refresh rate divisible of the higher monitor, eg for 144Hz, set the 2nd monitor to 72Hz (or 71.9xHz).

It also appears to not work more than 3x the refresh rate of the 2nd monitor. So for example, a 240Hz monitor will be reduced to 180Hz when there is activity on the 2nd monitor running at 60Hz.

"However the user also mentioned that it is not a 100% fix but still for most of the users would be just fine" This half baked fix won't offset the drawbacks with upgrade to latest and greatest flawed. And only God knows what other bugs will follow the Win 10 2004 version. No thanks.

Thanks. So MAK key works unlimited times! I tried LTSC 2019 and never observed any difference with my tweaked ISO. With ever increasing UWD drivers and more bloatware, I'd bet LTSC is the only way to go.

I'll need a very good reason to upgrade from the current LTSC.
