Hi, I'm getting really strange issue after updating to 2004, many applications getting crashed at start with kernelbase.dll error.
But if I create a new Windows user profile and run those apps this error vanish,

Or if I rollback the update the issue also disappears.

so I think that this update do something with my current user profile, any idea how to fix it??
Creating a new account is not a good option for me.
i tried already sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and the stuff related to dism. without any luck

Probably something your OEM is best positioned to assist with, as it may be a a hardware or driver related issue. Could be software but you didn't mention that it appears linked to any particular program or playing a certain game.

Either way, you will need to provide far more information. Even M$ support will ask for logs first. First step is make sure a dumpfile is being created so OEM/M$ knows what is going on. Then you can offer event viewer log, containing exception(s), as well as your build vers etc. :)

thank you for your feedback. i can provide all log. but i don't think it's hardware related from my experience i think this update is missing something with my user profile. otherwise why there is no such errors on newly created user profile. the same applications works perfectly. one of software i have an issue is the installation of 3dmark. it just crash.

here is some logs from when i try installing 3dmark

i want to share my experience i think i found the issue. it was in color management, i went to control panel, then color management and put a check mark on use my settings for this device... and all my problems vanished away... really strange.. i have been looking around for almost 2 days how to fix this issue. and it seems that windows update messed up the color management settings after the update....

I turned off Windows updates after the following situation:
A few months ago got a fresh update that created video drivers conflict and I just couldn't run my OS at all.
    Because of Windows 100MB update.
So highly recommend to everyone never update Windows if you don't have an installation disk or smth like that.
Their updates just steal your time on how to fix

Keep Windows update, just use the hide Windows update tool to hide all driver updates.

Download the "Show or hide updates" troubleshooter package now.

The moment I format, once I go online I use that tool and hid all Windows Driver updates

Download wanted desired patches as standalone and install in offline mode with Network disabled. Always have the door closed when you install patches coming from Redmond!

You prefer to get all sorts of updates? Do you even close your home-door home when you go to your favorite coffee shop? I'm 100% sure bro @Mr. Fox will do that. I as well:) And not only for your home.

It’s also worth noting that you should not manually download and install the update from Microsoft’s Update Catalog. If your device is affected and it needs to be patched, "Windows 10 will automatically apply the update without any action required from your end".
