    That's after removing all the spectre/meltdown patches and turning off the synthetic timers? Since LTSC 2019 (1809) is 10MHz after all the tweaks. 1709 was ~3.5MHz afaik

    Right, so it still forces some unwanted driver updates like the Killer Software Extensions driver but some of the drive updates are now optional. Still not what we want. It should be like Windows 7 where all driver updates are optional and the user can select which ones he wants to install.

    My main concern is the GPU driver. NVIDIA is fine, but with Intel it tends to install older drivers after you've put on newer ones. Obviously you can disable driver updates all together within group policy editor in W10 Pro, but of course, not everyone has that.

    You can still disable driver updates using Winaero or a simple reg tweak
