I'm still hoping that one day, Microsoft will provide an update that will allow the 1903 update to install. There was mention of the Servicing Stack updates, but, so far, the only ones I can find are already installed. Three more locked attempts to install the update today. I tried uninstalling devices, and disabling driver signing (not sure the latter actually stayed in effect.

Very frustrating - especially since Windows update keeps offering the update.

On my factory image of my Alienware Area-51m which is 1809, the update didn't work so what I did was, I used the Media Creation tool to create a Windows 10 USB Installer, then ran the setup from there and chose upgrade OS, worked liked a charm. After the update was done, I went to PC Settings > System > Storage > Configure Storage Sense or run it now

then I ticked the box at the end to delete the previous installation of Windows, that got rid of the Windows.old folder and freed up all the space taken by the previous OS

No more clean install due you need Dell’s awful created factory OS image?o_O

You can’t wipe out everything and start clean from the beginning?

A massive change vs. what you preferred before.

That's the error which prevents any cumulative updates to be applied. Its caused by faulty Dism servicing component.

    Hello there,
On the Windows 10 May 2019 build, I have observed that network speeds for applications that are not focused, say, Steam, in the background, or Dukto in the background, get their network speeds cut down massively.
Case in point: With Steam in the background, minimized or overlapped by a window (of any application) in focus, its' download speeds plummet to below half of what it is when Steam is focused (by clicking on it).
Is this a new feature, or a bug? Can this behavior be reverted to what it was in previous Windows builds?

    Even worse.
Asus Gamefirst V. The abomination is apparently installed on current generation Asus laptops, such as my Zephyrus M.
    Uninstalling it fixed it.
Thanks for the heads up :)
