Help. I'm having the exact opposite problem. I can't get 10 to install on my mk4. I keep getting an Intel Dynamic Power driver error and the install aborts. I've tried uninstalling the driver and it reappears and I've tried 3 different generations of Win 10 Iso's.. I'm running a factory Win 7 install that appears to be fully updated..

    Any ideas

    Thanks, Jim

I got the same error as you. I had to do a fresh install off from usb. window 10 detected all drivers I need like the buttons and touchscreen and install them. just had to calibrate touchscreen afterwards.
    hope this help.

Well I installed the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework (DPTF).driver as reccomended, it shows in the Device manager even though the Intel installer stated that not all the drivers were installed. So I broke out the Win 10 USB and fired up setup and lo and behold it reported that it couls not install as Intel dynamic power performance management driver needed to be manually uninstalled whick I already had done and it no longer appears in either device manager or programs and features….

    HELP…………

It's a "great feature" of Windows. You have to search for dppm driver files on your disk. In my case it was just an installer in downloads, really :))
    And use a registry cleaner.

OK, I notice that there are some global install xml files with intel drivers in them, Are you saying that I need to delete them even though they don't seem to be active....I did clean the register and also manually searched it for dppm files and deleted all references to them,
