Have a cf19 and really want to change it to w10. Currently win 7.

I was thinking of taking out the hdd with the win 7 out and then pop in a new ssd and install win 10 on it.
My theory is if something goes wrong, I can just put the hdd with win 7 back in. But the question is will all my front buttons work. Will the digitizer touch screen work? Will my wwan mc7700 Att card work?

    Thanks

probably not unless you can find official Panasonic win10 drivers for a mk4.
later mk drivers MAY work but it will be tril and error to find working button driver.

So I must ask is W7 running good with no problems? You do understand W10 is full of bugs and with every update they put out brings even more problems. They seam to be having problems with getting it right. Myself I like sitting down and enjoy my laptop and not spending time fixing Microsoft's screw ups. With me I was always fixing something with W10 . W7 just worked...no messing around with it.

window 7 was cool for that generation. but they are stopping the updates on win 7. plus I got use to win 10.
there are apps and programs more useful on win 10 with the Toughbook capabilities.
im just going to pull the plug and buy a ssd and fresh install win 10 on it. if something goes wrong, I got my hdd with win 7 on it ill just pop back in.

With a Lot of reading and driver installation from Panasonic you might get lucky getting everything to work properly...
Or you could contact Bob Johnson Computers....
They sound like they’ve fully embraced the brave new world of win10
Please report back after you get some results
