Wifi upgrade?

    Has anyone upgraded there wifi card in there Rangers to one the supports wifi 6?

    Just get an mpcie to m.2 adapter and shouldnt be a problem.

    Aren't the antenna connectors different as well though?

    There are adapters to connect the old MHF 4 antennas into the newer u.FL connectors on the WiFi cards.

    Which most adapters come with, mine does.

    I havent had the time to actually install it yet on my machine, was hoping to this weekend, maybe Sunday.

    Just thought about updating my wifi network to a new wifi 6 router . Was curious if anyone updated there cards in the laptops and if there was an issues or not .

    I dont, but I do have the intel wifi 9260. I will say something you lose is the ability to see if your wlan is on or not via led

    I think Sunday I will have some time, or Saturday if I remember to bring my things (have to house sit)

    Ill post back here if I end up getting it sorted

    Thanks! Will be interested to know how it goes/ what I would need. Seams like the wifi card in mine has really bad single most of the time
